SALES POLICY

Chic Working Moms, LLC (“We” or “us” or “our”) owns and operates the website http://shoplafemmechic.com (“Website”) and La Femme Chic Press.  This Sales Policy applies to the services offered by, under, and through the Website.  By using, accessing, and/or purchasing goods and products from the Website, you agree to the policies and practices as outlined in this Sales Policy.  This Sales Policy describes policies and procedures regarding how orders are processed, shipped, and paid.  Additionally, this Sales Policy outlines La Femme Chic Press and the Website’s Return policy and good damaged during shipment.  


We strive to make your purchasing with us as easy and stream-lined as possible, in doing so we have crafted the following Sales Policy. 


A. PURCHASE. In order to best serve our customers, we offer through the Website the ability to place orders, pay for orders, and arrange shipment. We use a third party vendor to process all payments for orders placed on the Website.  All payments for purchases made through the Website will be processed through Paypal®.  By placing an order through the Website, customers agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Paypal®.  Paypal® rules can be found on Paypal’s website, www.paypal.com. We require payment in full before any products will be shipped.  We do not accept Credit on Delivery. 

a. Order Confirmation. After placing an order, a confirmation receipt will be sent to purchaser’s email account within twenty four hours for orders placed during weekdays.  Orders placed after the close of business on Friday, during holidays, and on the weekends, a confirmation receipt will be sent within twenty-four hours after the next weekday.  The order confirmation will contain a summary of the order along with an order number.  Please see the following section for orders placed for items that are currently out of stock.   If you do not receive your email confirmation and it is not in your junk mail folder, please contact us immediately at ([email protected]) to ensure that the order was submitted successfully.

b. Out of Stock Items.  We strive to always have available stock for orders placed. However, we cannot guarantee that any particular item will be in stock at the time of an order.  Customer orders placed for items that are currently out-of-stock will not be processed.  Before the order is processed, the customer will have the option of canceling the order, changing the purchase to a different item, or continuing with the purchase of the out-of-stock item. If you fail to elect an option after 48 hours, the order will be canceled. Orders processed for items out-of-stock will be filled and shipped as soon as stock is replaced.  We make no guarantee on the amount of time needed to replace stock, but we will make commercially reasonable efforts to restock items in a timely manner.  Periodic updates on the expected time of restocking will be given in appropriate situations.  

c. Order Rejection. We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason.  If we reject your order, we will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you have given us with the order.

d. Personal Information. In order for us to process an order, we may need to collect personal information from you, including, but not limited to, your name, email, address, telephone number, and other similar identification information.  Furthermore, in order to process payment, a third party vendor will require the disclosure of personal information including, but not limited to, credit card information, name, delivery address, telephone number, and email.  Please see our Privacy Policy (http://shoplafemmechic.com/return-policies) for further information about our collection and storage of personal information.

 

B. SHIPPING.  We try to ship all orders within 48 hours after the order is placed for items currently in stock.  We do not ship on weekends or holidays.  Orders placed over the weekend, after the close of business on Friday or during holidays will be deemed placed on the first weekday following the weekend or holiday, and will usually ship 48 hours after the first weekday.  All shipping costs are not included in the price of items listed on the Website.  You are responsible for paying all shipping and handling costs, unless otherwise noted.  Delivery time is estimated by the shipping company and cannot be guaranteed by us.  Failure to ship within 48 hours of an order is not deemed a breach of the sales policy.  


C. RETURNS. We strive to provide high quality products that meet our customer demands. However, we understand that sometime products need to be returned.  We offer a full refund or store credit on items that are not used, worn, or altered.  All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt.  Customer must give notice to us, as stated in the below provision before returning an item.  To receive a full refund, returned items must be postmarked within 14 days of the original order confirmation.  Items returned postmarked 14 days or more from the original purchase, but less than 30 days from the original order confirmation are eligible to receive store credit, if the items are not used, worn, or altered.  Refunds or store credit will be processed once the item has been returned and its condition has been verified.  The conditions of returned items are determined by our sole and absolute discretion.  Refunds will be paid in the same manner as the original purchase.  Refunds and store credit will only be given for the cost of the item and will not include any shipping or handling fees originally associated with the order.  Postmarked means the day the shipping company records receipt of the package for shipment.  Returned goods are to be sent to the following address:

a. Returned Items that Arrived Damaged or Fail to Arrive will not be refunded.  If you believe that the item was damaged during shipment, it will be your duty to seek any available remedies from the shipping company and not from us.  Items that fail to arrive at the above named address will not be refunded or granted store credit. It is your responsibility to send returned items the appropriate address.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen returns that fail to arrive at our facilities. 

b. Shipping Costs.  You agree to pay all shipping costs associated with returning the item to us.  No Refund or store credit will be given for the shipping and handling fees accompanying the original purchase. 

c. Notice. Customers wanting to return an item must send an email to [email protected] on or before the item is postmarked for return. 


D. DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS.  We will take commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that we prepare and package our items for shipment so as to limit the possibility of damage.  However, we do not have control over the package once it leaves our possession. We are not responsible for damaged or lost packages due to the shipping company.  To ensure against lost or damaged items during transport, we recommend that customers pay for the appropriate insurance.  Customers are required to pursue any and all claims against the shipping company and hold us harmless for goods lost or damaged during transit.  Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct address is given to us. We are not responsible for items shipped to an incorrect address. 


E. MODIFICATIONS.  Modifications to this Sales Policy become effective when they are posted by us on our Website.  Your continued use of the services on the Website after the revised Sales Policy has been posted, signifies your acceptance of the revised Sales Policy.  For this reason, it is important that you review this Sales Policy regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.  Additionally, you must review this Sale Policy prior to each purchase of goods on the Website.  When this policy is revised, the “Date of last revision” at the top of this Sales Policy will be changed to the date when the latest changes are made.
